“The fun and adventures of Supercamp were eagerly anticipated by our group and the girls were not disappointed. From the adventure of travelling through Sydney and stopping at McDonalds for dinner to the joy of being splashed while canoeing, the exhilaration of speeding down the waterslide, the creativity displayed in the newspaper bridal attire, the entertaining night-time show (complete with torch spot-lights), the energy of Camara and the fun of Emily's games, the weekend was 100% fun-filled and action packed. But by far, the highlight had to be Stephen and Anton's presentation on our need for forgiveness. For some of our girls the truth became clear and they were convicted of their need for Jesus. We can't wait for the next camp in 2011!!

Special Events – Christmas Eve

“Stephen from Kidzlink took a session for the Western Region conference and did it in an engaging and informative way, helping us to think through children's ministry in the context of families. He kept our interest up, even in the difficult after lunch session, using real coffee and a couple of espresso machines, and talking about the cafe and good hospitality as a kind of metaphor for how churches need to connect with families not just individuals. We really can reach families through the children if, like a cafe, we create a family friendly and child friendly environment. This will require greater resources in our local churches allocated to ministry to kids. Stephen did not give us pat answers but really got us thinking about the priority of children's ministry and how we approach it.”
