“Kidzlink has been a great support to me as playgroup co-ordinator. We have consulted with Stephen Shearsby, who has helped equip us theologically and practically to take the gospel out. Thank you for the good advice and support.”
Heather Mackay, Liverpool.
“Kidzlink have proven to be such a valuable resource for our playgroup. It was our pleasure to invite Stephen from Kidzlink to our end of year party to run and coordinate a Story Time session. With a brief outline from us, Stephen presented the Gospel to our kids and mums in a way that held all their attention and got them involved and got them thinking about the true meaning of Christmas! The feedback we received from our Community families was fantastic. Such a professional presentation and a delight to work with we would highly recommend your playgroup taking advantage of such a valuable resource.”
Jennie Neville, St Paul’s Castle Hill.
“We had from Kindy to year 6 combined in the Hall. Stephen arrived in plenty of time to set up and the presentation was well organized. Some children participated and the rest were attentive throughout. There was plenty of variety in the program to hold the kids attention and the message was very good. The students and staff in attendance and the Scripture teachers thought well of the presentation and yes I would recommend that others take advantage of this great resource from Kidzlink.”
Rev Neil Mayhew, Beverly Hills North Anglican
“Our church has a Super Sunday each term and we were looking for something that is aimed at the children, but also sends a message to the adults. Stephen provided just what we wanted. The kids loved it and so did the parents! It was funny and entertaining, but most of all it had an awesome biblical massage that catered for everyone no matter what stage of life you were at.”
Karina Edgerton, Children’s Minister, St John's Anglican Camden
“The fun and adventures of Supercamp were eagerly anticipated by our group and the girls were not disappointed. From the adventure of travelling through Sydney and stopping at McDonalds for dinner to the joy of being splashed while canoeing, the exhilaration of speeding down the waterslide, the creativity displayed in the newspaper bridal attire, the entertaining night-time show (complete with torch spot-lights), the energy of Camara and the fun of Emily's games, the weekend was 100% fun-filled and action packed. But by far, the highlight had to be Stephen and Anton's presentation on our need for forgiveness. For some of our girls the truth became clear and they were convicted of their need for Jesus. We can't wait for the next camp in 2011!!
“P.S. Did anyone else think that Anton resembled someone we knew from camp? I couldn't quite put my figure on it!”
Melinda Millican, Team Leader Berowra GFS
“From costumed characters, amazing visuals, a rap and storytelling, Stephen from KidzLink brought it all to our church last Chrismas Eve. The kids were captivated, the adults behaved like kids and Jesus was honoured. The only reason I wouldn't recommend his ministry to others is that I want to book him myself.”
Andrew Barry, Jannali Anglican Church
“Stephen from Kidzlink took a session for the Western Region conference and did it in an engaging and informative way, helping us to think through children's ministry in the context of families. He kept our interest up, even in the difficult after lunch session, using real coffee and a couple of espresso machines, and talking about the cafe and good hospitality as a kind of metaphor for how churches need to connect with families not just individuals. We really can reach families through the children if, like a cafe, we create a family friendly and child friendly environment. This will require greater resources in our local churches allocated to ministry to kids. Stephen did not give us pat answers but really got us thinking about the priority of children's ministry and how we approach it.”
Rt Rev Ivan Lee, Bishop of Western Sydney.
